Kleinmichel have recently installed an automated facility for glueing roof stiffener modules for the new Mini at BMW Oxford, delivering glue to two roof variants at a cycle time of 1.5 minutes

Kleinmichel have recently installed an automated facility for glueing roof stiffener modules for the new Mini at BMW Oxford The system is based around the Kleinmichel high precision 510cc doser, delivering glue to two roof variants at a cycle time of 1.5 minutes

Parts handling is achieved using a KUKA robot.

This latest system takes the number of dispensing systems in operation at BMW Oxford to 9, with 8 additional systems curently supporting the automatic glazing facility.
