Spindle bearing lubricant boasts zero failures

A Kluber Lubrication product story

Isoflex NBU 15 is a high-speed grease with a good pressure absorption capacity.

Cleanliness is crucial to bearing life.

Even microscopic contamination can start the wear process, which in turn leads to loss of precision and early spindle bearing failure - a high cost both in spare parts and lost production.

Kluber Lubrication has been manufacturing specially formulated and filtered spindle bearing greases to help stop the damage for many years now.

And the company claims its top selling spindle bearing lubricant Isoflex NBU 15 has never had a failure due to lubricant to-date and has in fact increased service life two- to threefold over the previously used lubricants.

Isoflex NBU 15 is a high-speed grease with a good pressure absorption capacity.

It consists of a combination of ester oil/synthetic hydrocarbon oil/mineral oil and barium complex soap.

And provides excellent wear and corrosion protection, and is resistant to water, ambient media and oxidation.

These lubricants are especially suitable for high-speed plain and rolling bearings, such as spindle bearings in machine tools and textile machines, threaded spindles, ball screws subject to high loads, running gear bearings.

They are also used as long-term greases for bearings in cableways and precision engineering applications, and they are suitable for the lubrication of tooth flanks in precision gears (eg bevel gears in milling machines, electromechanical valve actuators).

The lubricant can be applied by brush, spatula, grease gun or grease cartridge.

Owing to the different compositions of elastomers and plastic materials, it is indispensable to check compatibility prior to series application.

Available in 50g PE tubes, 400g cartridges, 1kg tins and 25kg buckets, NBU 15 is available to all industries direct from Kluber Lubrication.
