Kluberfluid C-F 3 to C-F8 Ultra is a newly developed range of lubricants designed especially for the lubrication of medium-size to large girth gear drives found in rotary kilns, tube mills, drums and similar machinery used in the cement, lime, gypsum, mining and chemical industries and in power plants in addition to further applications such as sugar and paper production, the marine and offshore sectors These high performance lubricants are based on synthetic hydrocarbons and mineral oil, and provide good adhesion, excellent resistance to high pressure and protection against wear and are suitable for use at component temperatures up to 120C

Oil change brings advantages to offshore operation
Since changing oils, a oil and gas exploration company in the North Sea has improved lubricant life with no related mechanical problems and no downtime due to excessive servicing
The Kluberfluid C-F Ultra range is free from bitumen, solvents, heavy metals, chlorine and solid particles and can be applied by immersion, paddle wheel, circulation and spray lubrication.
Application possibilities are not restricted, neither by gear sise nor gear performance although a peripheral speed of 10.0m/s should not be exceeded.
Due to the transparent nature of these lubricants, tooth flank inspection is now made possible while the drive is in motion, and since the consumption volumes are lowered significantly the knock on effect is lower maintenance costs, lower disposal costs, less cleaning and reduced stock levels.
