Synthetic oil makes the food grade

Incorporating high-purity synthetic oil, Paraliq P 68 is colourless, NSF H1 registered and available in different container options.

Following a request to supply a foil drawing lubricant which would meet a customer's specific requirements, Kluber Lubrication was put to task to establish which lube out of over 3500 products would best meet the criteria set out After using Paraliq 68 for over 12 months the customer has resolved foil separation and drawing issues for trouble-free production

The customer required a food grade product which would have good adhesion to the foil for drawing but without inter-layer sticking.

In addition the lubricant must be easily applied without over lubrication whilst enduring the deep drawing process, hence high pressure resistance and excellent corrosion protection were of prime importance, but without leaving unwanted residue on the finished drawn foil product.

Kluber technical department developed a Paraliq P 68 oil dispersion solution for performance and ease of application.

This product can be applied in a number of ways including spraying, dripping and a felt-roller lubricating system.

Incorporating high-purity synthetic oil, Paraliq P 68 is colourless, NSF H1 registered and available in different container options.

With a threefold function, it has to protect the film/foil from corrosion, assist the separation of the foil during uncoiling and work as a stable deep-drawing oil, the Kluber Paraliq P68 is a true winner in the eyes of the aluminium-foil/foil-container manufacturer.
