Open day presents welding inverters
Open day sees launch of two go-anywhere 9.4kg, easy to use, ergonomically designed single phase 230V MIG/MAG welding inverters that can be used from a mains supply or generator.
Over 80 welding equipment distributors and customers attended an open day on 2nd February for the launch of welding products from Kemppi After an opening presentation of the products by John Frost, Director of Sales and Marketing, the visitors were able to see all the equipment in action and try the equipment for themselves

Lightweight welder can go anywhere
The Minarc 151 is a new 110V lightweight, MMA/scratch start TIG inverter welding machine.
With special offers on the day, a considerable number of orders were placed.
One of the products launched was Minarc Mig Adaptive 150 and 180, two go-anywhere 9.4kg, easy to use, ergonomically designed single phase 230V MIG/MAG welding inverters, which can be used from either a mains supply or generator for on-site applications.
They have an adaptive intelligent feature and can be used by all skill levels to weld light gauge sheet metal using 0.6 to 1.0mm solid mild steel and 0.8 to 1.0mm mild steel cored wires.
The Minarc Mig 180 can also weld with 0.6 to 1.0mm stainless steel and 1.0mm aluminium wires.
They are for repair and maintenance departments, light fabrication workshops, educational colleges and training establishments, equipment hire and construction companies, DIY welders, farmers, rail industry maintenance and repair, shipbuilding and marine outfitting.
Frost said: "This was the first time that we have had the opportunity to show the UK market the new products that we launched at Schweissen und Schneiden in Essen, Germany, last October".
"The demand for these products since their launch has been exceptional and judging by the orders we received at the open day, the demand from the UK market is the same".
"One of the trends we have seen in the market is that the user interface should be as easy as possible and all our new equipment has taken this into account, and we now see that demand for our equipment continues to grow".
