Continuing its commitment to develop the fullest line of industry-leading hazardous classified area displays, Kontron has announced the Kontron Triton Z2 display workstation.
The Kontron Triton Z2 offers a powerful, cost-effective solution for the oil and gas industry and carries the ATEX Zone 2/C1 D2 certification.
Providing superior protection with an IP56 rating, it offers enhanced processing power, strong safe area protection enhancements and rugged features designed to deliver optimum, reliable performance in hazardous environments.
For maximum computing performance, the Kontron Triton Z2 features Centrino-based Intel Pentium M processor technology.
It also offers a 15in full sunlight viewable display with EnhancedInfrared touch-screen technology that features false-trigger intelligence for increased productivity.
Kontron is the only manufacturer to offer this unique touch-screen design that allows decoupling of the touch-screen from the LCD.
The unique modular design also has easily serviceable subassembly units that greatly shorten repair time resulting in excellent reliability and the highest average uptime in the industry.
