Online resource expanded to give access to four reference books that provide information to help prevent and resolve corrosion issues.

Web-based information service provider Knovel has announced K-Nace, part of Nace's new membership package.

Nace and Knovel have been partners since 2002, when Nace became one of the first professional societies to use Knovel's platform to publish its own content.

Using the Knovel publishing platform, K-Nace grants all members free online access to full-text versions of four important reference books.

Nace has also made available an additional 24 titles for a small yearly access fee for members only.

This lets Nace members use Knovel's research platform, which helps users quickly locate data, analyse it and export the results.

The four titles included will provide information to help prevent and resolve corrosion issues.

Interactive tools will let researchers quickly locate information, analyse it and apply it to their work.

Teri Elliott, Director of Marketing and Membership at Nace, said: "We are pleased to partner with Knovel to be able to offer this cutting-edge resource".

Monica Nogueira, Knovel's Director of Channel Development, added: "Professionals working against corrosion require accurate, up-to-date information and analysis tools at their fingertips".

"Nace and Knovel have made that possible".
