Knovel Corp has been shortlisted for the prestigious International Information Industry Award for Best Scientific, Technical or Medical Product.

Knovel Corp has been shortlisted for the prestigious International Information Industry Award for Best Scientific, Technical or Medical Product.

Judged by a panel of industry experts, commentators and practitioners, Knovel was deemed to be of such significance as to warrant shortlisting for the Best STM Product award, which is awarded to products that have taken an innovative approach to meeting customer requirements.

On hearing of the shortlisting, Chris Forbes, CEO of Knovel said: "Being shortlisted for such a prestigious award is an honour in itself".

"Knovel aims to have scientists and engineers utilising our innovative SciTech collection worldwide".

"To be worthy of shortlisting for an international award such as this is testimony to how much we have already achieved".

As one of only six products shortlisted, Knovel is the only online reference service that has added value by taking tables and graphs from reference works and creating easy to use interactive tools.

The International Information Industry Awards are now in their fourth year, and will take place on Wednesday 29th November 2006 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

The awards offer the chance for the global industry to recognise the achievements of information and content vendors, information teams and individual information professionals.
