The PSE48AF PoE injector and PD1205 PoE splitter are designed for power over Ethernet applications in industrial fields.

New from Korenix Technology, the PSE48AF PoE injector and PD1205 PoE splitter are designed for power over Ethernet applications in industrial fields Power over Ethernet or PoE technology describes any system to transmit electrical power, along with data, to remote devices over standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network

This technology is useful for powering IP telephones, wireless AP, IP cameras, RFID readers, where it would be inconvenient or infeasible to supply power separately.

The power is supplied by power sourcing equipment, or PSE, which detects whether the remote Ethernet device is a PoE compliant power device or not.

If it's not a power device, no current is supplied.

If it is a PoE power device (PD), PSE will send power over Ethernet.

The PSE48AF PoE injector plays the role of PSE and "injects" power through Ethernet connection to powered devices (PD).

The PD1205 PoE splitter plays the role of PD and "splits" power from PoE to Ethernet devices.

The PSE48AF PoE injector and PD1205 PoE splitter comply with IEEE802.3af standard, and transfer both data and electrical power to Ethernet-enabled devices using standard Ethernet Cat5 cables.

The Korenix PoE injector and splitter are simple to install, requiring neither tools nor software.

Their compact size makes PoE implementation easy.

Both power and data can be transmitted up to 100m using standard Ethernet cabling with virtually no reduction in data throughput.

The PSE48AF PoE injector supports auto-sensing algorithms to automatically determine and supply power only to devices that can accept 802.3af power over the Ethernet connection.

The PSE48AF PoE Injector can supply power to PD devices up to 15.4W per port.

The PD1205 PoE splitter supplies power for 11W at 5V DC or 12W at 12V DC.

Both devices have short circuit protection, and will auto-disconnect for overvoltage or undervoltage conditions.
