The Mini ScrewRail is a compact addition to the popular ScrewRail line of linear actuators from Kerk Motion Products.

The Mini ScrewRail is a compact addition to the popular ScrewRail line of linear actuators from Kerk Motion Products.

The Mini ScrewRail is ideal for use in the semiconductor industry, where accurate positioning in a confined space is a primary design objective.

Kerk's Mini ScrewRail is designed for facilities that operate pick and place machines which require quick setup, ease of operation, high accuracy and high reliability.

Specific applications include picking or positioning discrete components, including fine pitch devices and BGAs.

The Mini ScrewRail consists of a precision rolled lead screw, supported by sealed bearings and contained within a concentric steel guide rail, driving an integrated nut/bushing.

Because all the alignment requirements are achieved within the Mini ScrewRail, support and positioning of the Mini ScrewRail are much less critical than with traditional slide assemblies.

The Mini ScrewRail is available in a 0.375in outside diameter, sizably smaller than typical diameters of 0.500 to 1.00in.

The Mini ScrewRail uses Kerk's proprietary Kerkote TFE coating on both the lead screw and guide rail, minimising drag torque and extending wear life.

In addition, Kerkite high performance polymers make the entire assembly self-lubricating and maintenance-free.

The Mini ScrewRail is available with a wide range of screw leads, in both standard and self-compensating anti-backlash assemblies.

All Kerk ScrewRails are available with standard mounting configurations, or can be modified to fit a customer's specific design needs.
