A revolutionary design of single straight tube Coriolis mass flowmeter ensures problem free installation and maximum accuracy in notoriously difficult applications.

A revolutionary design of single straight tube Coriolis mass flowmeter that ensures problem free installation and maximum accuracy in notoriously difficult applications has been launched by Krohne The Series 70, an innovative range of single straight tube meters is part of Krohne's revolutionary new Optimass mass flowmeter family

The range is the first of its kind to provide wetted parts in titanium, stainless steel and Hastelloy, allowing material selection to give corrosion resistance for almost any process fluid.

Installation options are virtually unlimited because the new straight tube design allows for siting anywhere in the process pipework without any need for clamping.

A unique feature is the capability to support the meter on its own body, something that was completely impossible with most Coriolis mass flowmeters.

The Series 70 delivers accurate metering for flow rates ranging from 20 to 560,000kg/h; handling high-viscosity fluids and particulate matter with ease.

The straight tube design is resistant to blocking or fouling, and maintains a high level of accuracy even in the presence of entrained air.

Optimass Series 70 also offers a new patented hygienic coupling design; an ingenious 'single seal' aseptic process connection system in accordance with DIN11864-2, which satisfies even the most stringent hygiene demands in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The range complies with a broad range of industry standards such as ASME Bio processing equipment, EHEDG and 3A.

Meters are constructed from FDA approved materials, and are manufactured in accordance with European Pressure Directive (PED) as well as Cenelec, ATEX and FM standards, making them suitable for use in hazardous environments.
