Dairy Crest of Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, is the first dairy manufacturer in the UK to install a specially adapted radar level measurement system from Krohne on its plastic bottle bottling machine
Fawcett worked with a number of key players in the measurement and control environment in South Africa, and became General Manager of Krohne in Midrand, Gauteng in 1996.
He has returned to the UK to embark on his new role managing a workforce of over 80 people with the leading flow and level company, based at the group's centre of excellence for Coriolis mass flowmeter technology.
Commenting on his new position, Fawcett said: "This new role is both challenging and exciting.
Customer demand is strong for the revolutionary Optimass mass flowmeter range developed and manufactured here in Wellingborough, and this has led Krohne to continue its investment in people skills as well as committing more than GBP 500,000 in state-of-the-art calibration rigs.
