Wind Turbine Tools, the exclusive US representative for Tentec's Aero range of bolt tensioning equipment, has placed an order worth in excess of USD500,000 (GBP340,000) with the UK manufacturer.
By placing this order, Wind Turbine Tools now has substantial stock levels and is able to respond immediately to customer requirements.
Wind Turbine Tools has its headquarters in Lincoln, Montana, with offices and representatives around the US including California, Minnesota and Texas.
The Tentec Aero range comprises bolt tensioning tools suitable for a complete wind turbine bolting installation or maintenance programme on many different types and models of wind turbines.
The products are manufactured from aircraft-quality high-strength tensile steel.
They are compact and lightweight for ease of handling.
