Robots get injection moulding package
Injection moulding function package will let users integrate robots into any injection moulding machine from 90 to 5500tonne with less installation and engineering time.
The KR 240 lets this six-axis robot be used in homogenous and mixed palletising, as well as high-speed conveyor-tracking material handling applications.
The Palligistics system uses the recently developed Gripstar CFVC 200 end-of-arm-tooling (EOAT) mounted on the Kuka robot.
The EOAT has a two-in-one dual-head design that palletises or depalletises SKUs of varying dimensions, handles cases, shrink-wraps containers, trays and crates for industries including the food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
