The ETM-624 Series is the latest generation of miniature IS pressure transducers from Kulite.

The ETM-624 Series is the latest generation of miniature IS pressure transducers from Kulite.

This high level output transducer delivers the highest performance in what is claimed to be the smallest package ever.

Specially designed for harsh environments, its rugged design ensures compatibility with most corrosive and conductive media.

The ETM-624 series is ideal for high-temperature applications and boasts an operating temperature range from -55 to +185C.

Electronics housed within the main body allow for operation from an unregulated power supply of 8 to 16V DC and provides an output of 5V.

The pressure transducers feature high overpressure capability.

Two different models are available: the ETM-624-312 series (5/16-24 UNF-2A or M8 x 1) and the ETM-624-375 series (3/8-24 UNJF-3A or M10 x 1).

Both models use a metal flush diaphragm as a force collector.

Force is transferred to a solid-state piezoresistive sensing element via thin intervening film of noncompressible silicone oil.

Tough and resilient, the ETM-624 series withstands a linear vibration of 100g peak (sine up to 5000Hz), a mechanical shock of 100g (half-sinewave for 1ms duration) and operates at altitudes between -46 and +21,336m.

The device weighs a maximum of 17g (excluding cable).

Using a fully active four-arm Wheatstone bridge dielectrically isolated silicon on silicon sensing principle, the pressure transducers deliver infinitesimal resolution and a bandwidth (-3dB) of DC to 5kHz.

Any liquid or gas compatible with 15-5PH or 316 SS can be used as pressure medium.

The operating pressure of the ETM-624 series is up to 275bar with significant burst and overpressure capability.
