Fittings provide reliable pneumatic connections

A KV product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 18, 2003

The K-Fit range of parallel and taper push-in fittings is purpose designed to meet the demands of the most arduous pneumatics applications.

A shelf is as good as the screws that hold it up, and this is also true when it comes to selecting pneumatic fittings for a pneumatic circuit.

A company makes a considerable investment in pneumatic equipment to undertake manufacturing processes, and so it is essential that the fittings chosen as part of the circuitry are reliable, robust enough for the job, have high flow characteristics and can be re-used time and time again.

KV has just such a range of parallel and taper K-Fit push-in fittings, purpose designed to meet the most arduous applications, as the K-Fit range operates in extremes of temperature from +70 to -20C.

The nickel-plated brass and acetal fittings also handle up to 10bar pressure and are suitable for vacuum applications to -0.9bar.

Threads are available from M5 to G0.5in taking tube diameters from 4 to 12mm.

An advanced locking mechanism using a stainless-steel lock ring retains the tube securely and allows quick and simple tube insertion.

A sealing ring applied during the manufacturing process, ensures that the fitting is both durable and remains intact after many removal and refitting operations.
