It is the widest selection of pliable conduits available and is supplied in covered and uncovered versions, all providing screening against EMI, RFI and EMP.

They also offer high levels of protection against crushing and impact.

Extra versatility is provided through flame retardant and low acid coverings.

Systems are offered with a range of connectors that complete the screening protection and achieve IP ingress protection ratings up to IP67.

Kopex metallic pliable conduit systems include LS1 and LS2 ranges in uncovered and covered versions.

LS1 is a general-purpose strength construction, whereas LS2 is heavy duty; both types are available with a low acid PVC cover for improved ingress protection.

Both LS1 and LS2 covered versions have operating temperature ranges from -40 to +105C, and the uncovered types reach 150C LS 1 Type T covered conduit has a limited fire hazard covering, whereas the AL2 aluminium type is flame retardant, nonmagnetic and lightweight with a low acid PVC cover.

C10 and C12 connectors have been designed for use with the metallic pliable conduit range.

C10 is designed for uncovered conduit and is a fixed straight male brass nickel-plated connector.

C12, for covered conduit, is of a similar construction and has IP66 and 67 ingress protection rating.

In addition the Kopex Screenforce range contains Superscreen Types T, H and S pliable conduits.

Designed specifically for EMC screening applications they provide up to 106dB at 1MHz EMC screening when used with the appropriate connector.

They have various approvals dependent upon the version specified, including LUL and MOD, and offer a range of different temperature ratings.

In addition to these standard pliable ranges, systems for more complex and specific applications can be manufactured to order.
