Kopex International has published a new shortform product guide to assist in the selection of exactly the right conduit for any application.

Kopex International has published a new shortform product guide to assist in the selection of exactly the right conduit for any application.

This includes a full range of high specification products for demanding applications in the defence and naval shipbuilding sectors.

The shortform product guide is designed to make conduit specification much easier.

It includes a selection guide which covers the company's traditional pliable, metallic and nonmetallic conduit systems.

The company's customer service offer is also enhanced by the application service from Kopex (ASK), which provides customers with the ultimate in project solutions.

For markets such as the MoD, this offers a customisation service which encourages bespoke solutions if required.

For example, a past project for the MoD led to a one-off bulkhead connector being produced for a naval vessel.

In this application it was essential that the conduit passed unbroken through the bulkhead, and that earthing to the bulkhead provided continuity of the of the RFI shielding.

The solution to the problem lay in a jacketed stainless steel conduit that had its jacket stripped away where it passed through the bulkhead.
