Kopex International has set up a network of specialist industrial stockists able to meet specifiers' demands.
Recognising that industrial sites ranging from petrochemical refineries to flour mills can represent very different but equally hazardous situations, Kopex International has acted to establish a network of specialist stockists able to meet specifiers' demands.
The renowned manufacturer of high performance conduit systems has taken the step in order to make its comprehensive product range more accessible to contractors and consultants.
Products such as the ATEX Flameproof Gland are consequently now available through 60 accredited stockists across the country.
In addition to achieving genuine UK wide coverage, Kopex International also has a team of technical salesmen who have been equipped with new sample cases and revised literature to assist them in demonstrating the products capabilities.
Then in the stockists' various branches, Kopex International is fitting two new types of display stand and stocking up with its new brochures as well as key components.
Further to this the company has also updated and redesigned its website.
This multi-tiered support for specifiers can therefore help ensure that every installation is completed using a conduit suited to the physical demands and compatibility requirements as well as any identified risk.
Where explosion is considered a likely hazard due to the presence of volatile substances, the ATEX Flameproof Gland is the only product available to the UK market offering full European a approval.
It can be used with any of the Kopex liquid tight conduit systems and is sealed using a specially developed putty.
This is a two component epoxy product that is easily mixed and packed into the well engineered brass casings of the gland, Importantly the seal formed by the putty is unaffected by the demounting and re-assembly process necessary during routine inspections.
The ATEX Flameproof Gland is suitable for EX III 2 DG (gas and dust), EExd IIC and EExe II applications.
Such accreditations, combined with the companys continuing product development programme and expanding portfolio of successfully completed projects, ensure the Kopex brand is the first choice for hazardous situations.
