Kopex International's Liquid Tight conduit features a rugged construction, reliable sealing, resistance to movement and vibration as well as ease of use.
Electricity and moisture are best kept separate, and so sealing to IP67 and 66 is essential where low-pressure water jets or other liquids may be present.
Equipment installed in food plants or breweries not only has water to contend with, but byproducts and cleaning agents.
Only the highest quality electrical conduit will ensure that cables are protected from the liquids as well as from physical impact.
For these needs Kopex International offers its Liquid Tight electrical conduit.
This superior grade of stainless steel conduit, with a polymer outer sleeve can be used extensively because of its rugged construction, reliable sealing, resistance to movement and vibration as well as ease of use.
Reliability is paramount in high-speed food packaging plants, for example, because downtime is extremely costly in terms of lost production.
The conduit is available in various diameters, up to 40 and 50mm for higher-rated power cables.
Most connections are made via straight fittings, though 90-degree and 45-degree fittings can also used where space is restricted.
The conduit, Type LT-T stainless corrosion resistant, can also withstand moisture and cold environments, and in some operational areas elevated temperatures may also be experienced.
Because of the high specification of the Liquid Tight products, the same grade of conduit and fittings can be used for many different applications, which reduces stockholding and avoids problems arising due to an inappropriate product being used.
