Specialist polymer conduit offers super low fire hazard, high temperature and chemical resistance, EMI screening and abuse resistant combinations.

Kopex International offers a novel range of Peek high-performance, nonmetallic, flexible conduits.

They offer super low fire hazard, high temperature and chemical resistance, EMI screening and abuse resistant combinations, making the Peek range ideally suited to any number of hazardous or extreme applications within industry.

Manufactured from the specialist polymer Peek, which has excellent mechanical, thermal and chemical properties, the range is available in basic form as a nonmetallic flexible conduit.

It can be applied throughout the offshore, nuclear, MoD, petrochemical, heat treatment, aerospace and rail sectors.

For applications requiring high EMI screening, the Peek conduit is overbraided with a tinned copper sheath.

Alternatively, for applications demanding abuse resistance and high mechanical strength, a stainless steel overbraid is employed.

Peek conduits meet the requirements of IEC61386 with operating temperatures of -45 to +250C.

In static applications the conduit can be used in temperatures from -60 to +300C.

Properties include the lowest smoke and toxicity of any thermoplastic, UL94V0 flammability rating, high chemical resistance, London Underground (LUL) approval, FDA approval, radiation resistance (2000Mrad) and availability in uncovered and braided versions.
