Kyland's KODT2200 plays an active communications role in the monitor system at a wind power station in Xinjiang.

Xinjiang is one of the areas with the most abundant wind resources in China, and its wind energy reserve is 912.7 billion kilowatts, placing it just after Inner Mongolia.

Now Xinjiang is making use of its wind resources to generate power.

The wind power generation will be an important alternative energy source for the future Xinjiang State.

In the monitor system at the Xinjiang wind power station, the Kyland KODT2200 forms a redundant fibre ring network that is used for remote control and data collection from remote RTUs.
