A new range of miniature thermocouple connectors from Labfacility allows rapid, reliable termination of extension wires without the need to remove a cover.

A new range of miniature thermocouple connectors from Labfacility allows rapid, reliable termination of extension wires without the need to remove a cover.

The "Quick-Wire" plugs and sockets receive the bared, thermocouple wire via a "jab-in" and "screw-down" action which takes just a few seconds.

The time savings compared with conventional connectors represents a significant cost benefit in sensor production processes and where repairs or fitting are carried out on plant.

The new connectors are available in the common thermocouple types JKTE and N using true thermocouple alloys throughout so that an error-free circuit is ensured.

For types R and S, compensating alloys are used to provide good accuracy.

The bodies are moulded in glass filled polyester rated for 220oC continuous use and are IEC-584 colour coded.

Alternative versions with copper conductors are available for use with resistance thermometers.

The quick-wire connectors are fully DIN specification compliant for compatibility with other miniature connectors from Labfacility and from other manufacturers.

They are available from stock, in quantity.
