A widely-used non contact thermometer housed in a rugged diecast aluminium body sealed to IP65 has been redesigned to cover temperatures within the range 0 to 1000C

Land Infrared has increased the versatility of its System 4 non contact thermometer systems by extending the temperature measurement range down to zero degrees Celsius with a new low temperature model.

The new M8 thermometer operates at long wavelengths in the 8 to 14um waveband and covers temperatures within the range 0 to 1000C.

Applications are similarly broad, including food, textiles, pulp and paper, plastics, rubber, wood, paint and ceramics.

M8 thermometers feature through-the-lens sighting with a 100:1 measurement field of view, giving a target size of 5mm diameter at the 0.5m minimum focus distance.

Adjustable focus with a circular graticule in the viewfinder gives precise sighting on to the smallest of targets.

System 4 thermometers are housed in a rugged diecast aluminium body sealed to IP65 to prevent water ingress in hostile environments.

An extensive choice of signal processors (DIN-rail or panel mounted), mountings and protection accessories is available to satisfy specific temperature measurement needs in almost any industrial or laboratory application.
