Remote communications added to data
recorders

Reusable electronic event data recorders improved to let users remotely communicate with and monitor the status of the recording device.

The Shocklog range of reusable electronic event data recorders has been improved to let users remotely communicate with and monitor the status of the Shocklog recording device The Shocklog Indicator System comprises modules that can be integrated to provide a system for remote monitoring situations

This is useful for companies where the monitoring device is enclosed either in the product itself or its packaging.

Shocklog is used throughout industry to help companies reduce the cost of damage to goods, whether in production, transit or storage.

The integral part of the system is the remote indicator unit (RIU) that is available in two versions.

The 401RIU is a simple device that shows when the RD298 alarm has been triggered.

It also allows the operator to reset the alarm condition after the action has been recorded and time stamped.

This unit is powered by an external power supply.

Lamerholm also offers the RD401A RIU, for applications where there is no external power supply or uninterruptible status is required.

The RD401A unit is fitted with a series of LED lights to indicate the current operational and alarm status of the Shocklog unit.

As well as the RIU, Lamerholm supplies custom made cables and bulkhead connectors to meet customer specifications.

The products have been used throughout the world to safeguard aerospace products, power generation equipment, medical instrumentation and artwork. Request a free brochure from Lamerholm Electronics ...
