A Laidler Associates product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 25, 2007

Laidler Associates has received accreditation from SAFEcontractor for the third consecutive year, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst contractors.

Laidler Associates is one of the latest group of successful companies to join a scheme designed to help industry improve its safety record.

The North-East based firm recently received accreditation from SAFEcontractor for the third consecutive year, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst contractors.

"Gaining this accreditation gives potential clients an added peace of mind when using our services", said Paul Laidler, Managing Director of Laidler Associates.

"Companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management and it is good to be able to demonstrate our approach through this scheme".

SAFEcontractor is operated by international safety, health and environmental risk management specialists, the Ntional Britannia Group.

The system is applicable to most sectors, although it is most relevant to food manufacture, property and retail, all of which are big users of contract services.

Businesses undergo a vetting process, which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practices.
