The widely used Electrophysics 7290A Micronviewer Infrared camera has now been enhanced with increased sensitivity at both 1310nm and 1550nm Applications for the Micronviewer, include IR profiling and alignment of Laser Diodes, LEDS, Waveguides and Fibre devices
Beam outputs at telecomms wavelenths are often small in size and low in power.
For the Micronviewer these issues present no problem, with signal detection as low as 1mW/cm2 at 1310nm and 3mW/cm2 at 1550nm.
If required the beam can be magnified, by fitting the Micronviewer with a microscope objective lens.
The Micronviewer utilizes any C-mount objective lens and the camera has a built in filter slide that accommodates short pass, long pass or neutral density filters up to 2mm thick The wavelength range of the camera is from 400nm - 2.2mm making it ideal for many other Visible and infrared applications.
