Infrared Imaging : The best gets better
Viewing infrared wavelengths between 0.4-1.5microns, the converted image produced by the new 7215 is now brighter and offers edge to edge sharpness.
It provides: a 20mm travel range; 0.1um resolution; 200m/s2 (or 20g) acceleration; and 600mm/s velocity.
And all this comes in a package smaller than a 9V block battery.
The linear motor drive is based on a novel ultrasonic piezoceramic actuator manufactured at PI Ceramic (PI's subsidiary, specialising in PZT ceramic materials).
Typical applications include scanning, micromanipulation, biotechnology, micromachining, semiconductor test equipment and screening.
For ease of operation, the M-663 translation stage comes complete with motor driver and cables.
It can be controlled by any PID servo controller from PI or other suppliers such as National Instruments or Galil.
An OEM electronics board is also available. Request a free brochure from Lambda Photometrics ...
