Progressive scan cameras make their case

The Pacific Corporation has recently released a range of cased progressive scan cameras using the technologies which have made the company pre-eminent in its field.

The Pacific Corporation is Japan's leading manufacturer of board-mounted CCD cameras and has recently released a range of cased progressive scan cameras using the technologies which have made the company pre-eminent in its field These cameras are now available in the UK from Lambda Photometrics

The range includes six series of cased cameras and are available both in monochrome and colour with a seventh series offering a miniature camera and separate controller.

Both standard and high resolution products are included in the Pacific Corporation range.

External synchronisation and trigger are provided as standard as is electronic shuttering with ranges variable from 80ms to 50us depending on the model.

Frame rates vary from 12 to 60 frames per second with field or frame output options.

The smallest model measures only 29 x 29 x 29mm, and comes in standard and megapixel resolution.

The CL series of cameras feature a CameraLink output, as does a recently introduced small B/W camera which also features a photosensor with square pixels.

The systems using separate heads and controllers use a camera head with dimension of 44 x 29 x 45mm and analogue or digital RGB output options.

A range of B/W interlaced CCD cameras are also available.

The VCC range incorporates ExView HAD CCDs which use the near-infra-red region to enable excellent low-light imaging. Request a free brochure from Lambda Photometrics ...
