Frame grabber handles high-resolution video

Video data can be simultaneously transferred to system or display memory without CPU intervention and can be formatted to several pixel formats.

Lambda Photometrics has released the dPict Imaging Nexeon HD, a PCI Express video capture frame grabber for high-resolution analogue or digital video inputs.

Nexeon HD supports both standard definition analogue component, S-Video and composite video cameras as well as high-definition components or digital DVI/HDMI inputs.

Nexeon HD comes equipped with a Texas Instruments DM642 video processor and 64Mbyte of onboard frame buffer memory, allowing reliable capture and transmission of video data.

Video data can be simultaneously transferred to system or display memory without CPU intervention and can be formatted to several pixel formats.

Nexeon HD is controlled through an API that is common to all dPict Imaging products.

Extensive documentation and sample code is provided for Windows 2000, XP and .NET.
