Latab catalogue includes SMD-type LEDs

Latab has released its catalogue of industrial LED lighting for machine-vision applications, available for download on Lambda's website.

New products featured are the SMD-type (surface-mounted) high-intensity LEDs that use 'amber' (617nm) LEDs.

This SAH series has 50 per cent more intensity than the PAH series of hole-mounted red LEDs at 630nm.

The technology makes certain types of LED lights more cost effective and allows the range available to be increased.

Latab offers a range of ring lights, dome lights, dark field lights, tunnel lights, light lines, front lights, back lights and coaxial lights.

Light lines can be arranged as pairs or in fours and can have Fresnel lenses fitted to give a tight, intense line of a few millimeters in width.
