Lanner Group has announced the expansion of its organisation in North and South America.

Lanner Group, Inc - a subsidiary of Lanner Group Limited, leading business transformation solutions provider based in the United Kingdom - has announced the expansion of its organisation in North and South America.

Lanner Group has more than doubled its sales, marketing and professional services organisations to manage increases in software sales and consulting opportunities throughout the United States, Canada and South America.

"Over the last year our company has experienced tremendous growth worldwide," said Roger Hearn, president of Lanner Group Ltd.

"Organisations in virtually every industry throughout the world are making greater investment in process improvement and business transformation solutions.

Demand for these solutions has been particularly high in the United States, Canada and South America.

We view this market as being vital to our company's aggressive growth plans and we're building up the operation accordingly." To ensure the successful expansion of its Pan-American operation Lanner recently promoted President of the Americas Jeffrey B.Croson to President and Chief Operating Officer.

"In his first year at the helm of our Pan-American operation Jeff has done a fantastic job of building a cohesive, motivated and productive team," Hearn said.

"It only made sense to put him in charge of our ambitious expansion plan." "We've had a great year in the Americas, both in terms of revenue growth and the diversity of business transformation projects we've undertaken," added Croson.

"But we've really just scratched the surface of the opportunity we have.

That's why we've recently increased our sales organisation by 50 per cent, expanding consultancy services by 60 per cent, bolstered our marketing organisation and embarked on an aggressive plan to sign distributors in South America." Croson highlights a number of personnel moves as being especially critical to the success of Lanner's newly expanded Pan American operations: Michael P.Smith, a five-year veteran in process engineering sales and marketing, was named regional sales manager for the Northeast and Midwest United States and Canada.

Peter Tiernan, a 15-year veteran of high-tech marketing, was hired as director of marketing for the Americas.

Ian Rawles, a consulting expert in business transformation for 11 years, was appointed director of professional services for the Americas.

"This is just the beginning of what will be an ongoing effort over the coming months to improve out ability to deliver high value-added business transformation solutions to our growing market," says Croson.
