Simplest way to choose a connector
online
Search using a wide range of criteria including number of poles, male or female contacts, cable cross-section, voltage and current rating and other properties.
To make it easy for customers to quickly specify the most suitable product for their application, Lapp has introduced a connector finding facility called Connector Selector According to Lapp's Product Marketing Manager Matt Ansell, this online facility is the first of its kind and joins the Cable Selector facility introduced during 2007 when the company announced its remodelled website

By using Connector Selector customers who require a specific connector product, whether it be industrial rectangular, circular or solar, can search using a wide range of criteria including number of poles, male or female contacts, cable cross-section, voltage and current rating and properties such as single or double locking levers and gland sizes required.
At each stage of the criteria selection, the search is refined and, once the selection is complete, customers are left with connectors that exactly match the desired application.
"It is the simplest way to choose a connector", says Ansell.
"It can take quite a while to identify the exact connector from our extensive range but, using Connector Selector, users can now complete that selection in 30 seconds".
"Once selected, customers are then able to download the relevant datasheet".
