3D printer creates advanced models
The Dimension 3D Printing Group has expanded its family of 3D printers with the launch of Dimension SST, a new product that allows users to develop advanced 3D models.
Dimension is designed to run in a normal office environment being both clean and easy to use.
Catalyst software runs alongside the CAD package so parts can be sent to Dimension, just as documents are sent to a printer.
A completed part can be removed from the machine and the next started within a minute.
Designers can break away the supports while sat at their desks to reveal a strong accurate part built in ABS plastic.
These robust parts make ideal concept models but they can also be used for functional testing or finished to produce patterns for secondary processes.
