Solid state lasers for SLA machines
Users of HeCd or Argon-ion lasers on SLA machines can now upgrade their equipment to solid-state lasers that provide proven reliability, no maintenance costs and low running costs.
For anyone who is fed up with high running costs and short maintenance intervals for HeCd or Argon-ion lasers on SLA machines, Laser Lines offers solid-state laser upgrades that provide proven reliability (up to 2 years unlimited hours warranty), no maintenance costs and low running costs With the ability to change over to newer solid-state resins, and with more laser power on tap, the new units can even increase productivity

Work stations aimed at laser welding hand work
Available in four sizes and laser powers, a range of laser welding hand work stations are suitable from manufacturing intricate jewellery to the repair of 350Kg injection mould tools
Laser Lines can supply and fit the DPSS laser model 3501-100 to a SLA-250 system.
The guaranteed power is 100mW for unlimited hours use during the warranty period.
At the time of ordering customers can specify a spot size at the vat of either 100 or 200mm, and in conjunction with the improved resins tailored to the solid-state laser wavelength, they will see an improvement in quality and performance.
Some customers have reported two to three times higher productivity after the laser upgrade is installed.
The other obvious benefit is the elimination of the cost and disruption to production through having the old HeCd laser retubed or reprocessed every 2500 hours.
The company can also supply and fit the DPSS laser model 3505-100 to a SLA-500 system.
The guaranteed power is 350mW for unlimited hours use during the warranty period.
The biggest benefit in this case is the power consumption - replacing 30kW with only 300W.
Additional benefits are as the SLA-250 upgrade: users can switch to the newer resin formulations, and can eliminate the ion laser retube costs and inconvenience.
Although the SLA-5000 is already fitted with a solid-state laser, there are still benefits to be had in upgrading to a DPSS model.
Laser Lines can fit the 3505-100, with a warranted power of 225mW and operating at a repetition rate of 100kHz.
This higher power and repetition rate again can provide higher throughput.
Maintenance costs for the DPSS laser are typically half of those for the existing laser when compared over a two-year period.
In addition to the upgrades described above, Laser Lines is also the UK distributor for Synrad, the leading manufacturer of sealed CO2 lasers.
