Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 20, 2004

Laser Lines (I and M) is sponsoring a rapid prototyping forum in Cambridge on 21st October 2004.

Laser Lines (I and M) is sponsoring a rapid prototyping forum in Cambridge on 21st October from 0900 to 1700 GMT.

The forum brings together three companies showing related products from the world of rapid prototyping: Laser Lines (I and M) will be demonstrating Dimension, the world's most successful 3D printer from Stratasys.

Materialise will be showing its extensive range of software solutions for the RP and RT industries.

Roland will be presenting products for reverse engineering and subtractive rapid prototyping.

Visitors will be able to see first-hand how 3D models can easily be created, manipulated and built into a physical model using products that are affordable, easy to use and designed to operate in an office environment.

The day will consist of a series of 20-minute presentations by each of the above companies.

The presentations will run concurrently so visitors will be able to see all of the products demonstrated at their own convenience.

During the 20 minute presentations there will be limited time for questions, but representatives from each company will be on hand to answer questions in a more informal environment outside of the presentation setting.
