Latchways has taken the science of Constant Force and applied it to the fall arrest industry with a revolutionary new safety system for metal pitched roofs This new approach has resulted in Latchways developing the most technically advanced fall arrest system available

The new ManSafe for Metal Pitched Roofing system uses Constant Force posts, which have a much greater load absorption capacity, reducing end loads by up to 50% compared with other systems.

This allows it to be fixed directly onto relatively delicate materials, such as single skin roofing, and the system consequently has been designed to fit all major built up on site and composite roofing profiles.

Even with 3 users on a single system, the maximum load created in the event of a fall is guaranteed to be no higher than 10kN, with no risk of the roof panel being damaged.

As a result the Constant Force post can be located anywhere on the roof using stitching screws, making system specification easy.

Installation is kept quick and simple with no problems of cold bridging.

The rounded profile of the post makes it a more visually attractive addition to the building, and it can be colour matched to the roofing panel.

Meeting all the required safety legislation, and subjected to rigorous testing, this ManSafe for Metal Pitched Roofing system sets the standard for fall arrest design, combining good looks with proven reliability.
