More power options for configurable PSU

These modules add high drive options to the many standard outputs already available - ensuring Alpha remains the world's most capable advanced configurable power supply.

Lambda, the Ilfracombe-based power supply manufacturer, has introduced two new power modules for its industry-leading Alpha switched-mode configurable power supply The new J module satisfies the needs of designers looking for higher voltage output, while those requiring higher current should fit the high power S module

Martin Southam, Lambda UK sales director, said: "The Alpha switched-mode power supply is undoubtedly the most flexible configurable power solution available today and the Alpha J and S modules were developed to give designers even more power options.

These modules add high drive options to the many standard outputs already available - ensuring Alpha remains the world's most capable advanced configurable power supply.

A case of considerable configurable!" The Alpha J module delivers an output power of 384W, with an adjustable output of 30-48V at 10A maximum, while the S module provides 425W at 5V and 85A.

Load regulation of the J module is rated 0.1% nominal and for the S module, 50mV.

Common mode noise performance for the J and S units are 2% and 4% respectively.

Both modules feature current limit, short circuit current and overvoltage protection circuitry as standard.

Isolation output to ground is stated at 500VDC.

Alpha is now available in four power levels: 400, 600, 800 and 1000W with up to 14 outputs.

Alpha's inherently flexible modular design means that for those customers whose voltage requirements lie beyond that of standard units, Lambda is able to provide a carefully matched solution that is easy to specify, easy to fit, easy to buy. Request a free brochure from Lambda ...
