High efficiency from DIN-rail power supply
The new DRP-960 is the latest and most powerful member of the DRP family of high performance switched mode power supplies.
The three basic configurations provide main outputs of: 3.3/5V, 5/12V and 5/24V.
On the first model voltage adjustment is 1.8 to 3.8V at 30A on the 3.3V output and 4.5 to 5.5V at 20A on the 5V output.
On the other two models, outputs one and two are galvanically isolated and voltage adjustment is 4.5 to 7.5V at 25A on the 5V output, 9 to 13V at 10A on the 12V output and 18 to 25V at 6A on the 24V output.
Up to 80V DC can be achieved by series connection.
AC input is 85 to 264V.
Flexi Sirius combines highly innovative technology with the latest design-for-manufacturing techniques to produce a power supply which although technologically advanced is also very competitively priced.
The core of the new power supply is its unique planar transformer which, rather than using secondary windings, employs FR4 secondaries and copper stampings for high current outputs.
Flexi Sirius employs active power factor correction to achieve a PFC of more than 0.95 and provides harmonic correction in accordance with EN61000-3-2.
Module good, AC fail, remote sense and inhibit are all standard features, as are short circuit protection on the output modules and thermal protection.
The low profile and streamlined mechanical design of Flexi Sirius coupled with the unit's 'cool running' transformer means that it requires an extremely low air flow.
As a result the unit can utilise the cooling mechanisms present in the OEM equipment into which it is installed, or alternatively it can be supplied in a case with a single top fan or end-mounted single or dual 60mm fans for height restricted applications.
