Single-output unit delivers concentrated power
Lambda has introduced a new single-output version of its 1000W Alpha, making it the most versatile configurable power supply available with a full range of power levels from 400W to 1000W

Flexi Sirius from Lambda, the world's number one power supply manufacturer, is the latest addition to the company's range of advanced configurable power supplies.
Also featured is a low audible noise cooling fan.
Lambda UK's sales director, Martin Southam, commented: "No minimum load on channel one is a big benefit for a lot of customers.
Sirius M is able to offer a zero minimum load requirement through the innovative mag amp technology employed.
The low noise fan is an attractive feature, particularly for office and laboratory environments." Conducted RFI is in accordance with EN55022 curve A, as is radiated RFI when the unit's cover is fitted.
Impressive EMC immunity includes IEC1000-4-2 (ESD), level 4 criteria A, right through to IEC1000-4-8 (Magnetic Field), 3A/m, criteria A.
Another important feature of the Sirius M is its power factor correction circuit (PFC), something not available on its predecessor the Omega 200.
The new unit employs active power factor correction and its PFC circuit uses a conventional PWM IC rather than a dedicated PFC chip, bringing significant cost savings.
Its PFC of more than 0.95 is significantly better than passive PFC, and provides harmonic correction in accordance with EN6100-3-2.
The Sirius M utilises the very latest in design for manufacturing techniques, providing customers with a very technologically advanced but competitively priced product.
Its unique open transformer construction improves cooling and gives considerable savings in production costs.
The converter's input operating range is from 90V to 264V.
There are up to four configurable DC outputs covering ranges of: 4.5V to 8.0V at 12A, 21.5V to 27V at 7A, 10.5V to 16.5V at 3.5A and 10.5V to 16.5V at 3.5A.
Other versions are available on request.
The power supply has full overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuit protection.
It is supplied in an ultra compact aluminium case, measuring 63.5mm x 127mm x 189mm.
Operating temperature is from 0C to 65C. Request a free brochure from Lambda ...
