Cost-effective expansion for DIN-rail power
Lambda has added two new models to its lead-free DLP series of DIN-rail mounted AC/DC supplies.
To meet this demand Lambda's DHP series provides a choice of 480 and 960W DIN-rail solutions as a natural progression from the existing DLP range and are specifically designed with size, efficiency and reliability in mind.
The DHP units are a cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications including motor control systems, process control, chemical processing, automotive, burn-in and test, and instrumentation.
All models have a three-phase input range of 340-575V.
In addition the 480W unit is available with a single-phase input range of 85-265V.
The new supplies have built-in overcurrent and overvoltage protection and are fitted with a red alarm LED and alarm relay contacts giving operators an immediate warning should the output drop below 22V.
A remote inhibit function is also provided.
Convection cooling is employed over an operating temperature range of -10 to +60C.
Efficiency is typically 93%.
The new DHP units are CE marked in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive and comply with a wide range of worldwide safety standards including UL and CSA.
The units comply with conducted and radiated EMI, Class B requirements and carry input transient protection.
The supplies have a standard common height and depth of 125 x 135mm.
The narrow width dimension ranges from only 140mm for the DHP480 to 220mm for the DHP960, minimising space taken on the DIN rail.
Extremely rugged, the new DHP series of "fit and forget" DIN-rail mounted power supplies are highly reliable with a long-lifetime expectancy.
They are supplied with a 3-year warranty. Request a free brochure from Lambda ...
