LC Automation has revealed the dates and venues for its 2002 New Technology and Innovation Roadshow.

The four shows, which the company reckons are a refreshing change from traditional exhibitions, aim to be informative and educational, as well as providing an opportunity to see working demonstrations of products from 14 of the leading suppliers in the fields of automaton, motion control and machinery safety.

This year's roadshow largely repeats the successful formula from 2001, which includes holding the shows at football clubs.

Anyone visiting a show is also entitled to a free tour of the club.

Dates and venues for the shows are as follows: 14th May, Manchester United Football Club; 16th May, Sunderland Football Club; 21th May, Bristol Rugby Club; and 23rd May, Southampton Football Club.

Alongside the exhibition area, each show also has technology workshops.

These consist of a short presentation on a topical subject, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Six workshops are scheduled for the morning and these are repeated in the afternoon.

The day starts with a free breakfast served from 8:15 and the first workshop begins at 9:00.

A free lunch is provided, and the day finishes at 3:30.

Visitors are welcome to come for the morning, afternoon, all day, or just for lunch.

Ample free parking is available at each venue, but spaces for the workshops are limited.
