AS-i Tech 2003 is the show dedicated to AS-interface systems, solutions and technologies in the industrial networking and communications environment.
AS-i Tech 2003 is the show dedicated to AS-interface systems, solutions and technologies in the industrial networking and communications environment.
The event and seminars are totally free, and this year are being held at Reading Football Club, Madjeski Stadium on 4th March and Manchester United Football Club, Old Trafford on 6th March.
The event is a great opportunity to see how AS-i can help improve a business and is firmly focused on applications and user benefits - not 'pie in the sky' textbook theories.
There are also plenty of opportunities to learn from the experts with several seminars and presentations throughout the day, looking at all areas of AS-i from a general introduction to process control, safety solutions and also upgrades and future trends.
In the AS-i Tech 2003 exhibition, there is also the chance to see the companies and organisations that are making AS-i one of the most popular low-level networking systems available.
The ongoing collaboration between Lancashire based companies, LC Automation and Tapeswitch has proved to be so successful that the pair are currently planning a joint branded stand for AS-i Tech 2003.
As two of the UK's AS-i interface team, they continue to work very closely together, helping to lead the way in AS-i Safety at Work.
Tapeswitch manufactures a well-known range of high quality sensing products including light curtains, sensing edges, safety mats and mute warning lamps.
Most importantly from an AS-i point of view, is their range of Solo products which have inbuilt failsafe technology allowing them to be connected directly to AS-i Safe modules.
As one of the leading technical distributors in machinery safety products, LC Automation prides itself on providing excellent customer service and bespoke safety services as well as a wide range of machinery safety products.
The company has recently announced a new strategic safety partnership with Siemens and is rapidly building a solid reputation as the expert in AS-i Safe networks.
