Since it was launched in June 2003, the LC Automation "Machinery safety handbook" has proved to be incredibly popular with UK engineers, designers and safety managers alike.

In fact it was so popular that the original print run of 15,000 copies quickly ran out, but more have been printed and it's now available again.

LC Automation has crammed all its 28 years knowledge and experience into the 220-page "Machinery safety handbook".

It's specifically designed to help companies to fulfil their machinery safety obligations and includes plenty of background and application information as well as details of the latest European directives and legislation.

There are also thousands of products from leading manufacturers such as Siemens, Pilz, Guardscan, Sick and Pepperl and Fuchs, including full order codes and list prices.

The eight sections cover: a practical approach to safety, photoelectric light curtains, safety mats and edges, safety switches, intrinsic safety, safety relays, safety networks and safety systems.

Each section begins with relevant information about product selection, specification and installation, before covering an extensive range of products to suit a range of popular applications.
