Easy-to-use robot solution is easily
affordable

The new IAI SCARA range is set to make a big impact on the UK, opening up new market sectors with their easy "plug and play" functionality and affordable prices.

Although many companies acknowledge the obvious benefits of using robots in their production or packing facilities, potential users often have one or two concerns: robots are difficult to set up and configure, a robot won't integrate into an existing operation and finally, robots are far too expensive These were once genuine concerns, but the new SCARA range of robots from Intelligent Actuator have changed that forever

The new IAI SCARA (selective compliant assembly robot arm) range is set to make a big impact on the UK, opening up new market sectors with their easy "plug and play" functionality and affordable prices.

In fact, IAI says: "Little or no programming experience is required - virtually anyone can use them".

To make the SCARA robots even easier to install, a total of 16 off-the-shelf models will eventually be available, including clean room and wall or ceiling mountable versions.

Each model is designed for specific types of application reducing setup time, and also making them even easier to integrate into your current manufacturing or production operations.

The IAI X-SEL controller also makes it even easier to programme any robot in the range.

Even though the SCARA range is easy to use and install, there is certainly no lack of either features or performance.

A standard cycle time of just 0.46s along with a large payload and excellent repeatability make these robots ideal for a range of different industries and applications.

To communicate with existing networks they also feature a range of connection options including Profibus, DeviceNet, CC-Link and Ethernet. Request a free brochure from LC Automation ...
