The PSSZ-2 safety interface from Tapeswitch combines compact size and DIN-rail connectivity, making it one of the most usable safety interfaces around.
Many safety interfaces are not always suitable where space is very limited or where a DIN-rail is being used.
The remarkable new PSSZ-2 safety interface from Tapeswitch caters for both situations, with its compact size and DIN-rail connectivity making it one of the most usable safety interfaces around.
Ideal for use with safety mats, sensing safety edges and other ribbon-switch safety sensors in low to medium risk situations, the PSSZ-2 provides category 3 fail-safe monitoring in an incredibly compact package.
Its solid-state volt-free outputs also make the PSSZ-2 interface unit compatible with virtually any interface, including the input modules of bus systems such as AS-interface.
The PSSZ-2 monitors the safety sensor by using a single two-wire lead, which reduces the complexity of the installation and often provides the most practical solution.
An additional benefit is an integral LED that displays the status of the safety sensor, illuminating red, or green as appropriate.
The PSSZ-2 interface is suitable for a wide range of safety applications (along with the appropriate safety sensor).
