Bihl and Wiedemann network interface products and accessories are now available from LC Automation.
Bihl and Wiedemann is already well known as one of Europe's leading suppliers of high quality AS-interface products, but the company also supplies a wide range of gateways for connection to other major network technologies including Profibus and CC-Link.
AS-Interface gateways act as a master for the AS-Interface and a fieldbus slave with modular I/O for the higher level fieldbus.
The devices offer protection to IP20 and IP65 and are available as interfaces to the following fieldbus systems: Ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus DP, Profibus FMS, CC-Link, InterBus, DeviceNet, CANopen, Modbus, Modbus Plus, Bitbus, LON, RS232, RS485 and RS422.
It allows users to use AS-interface and AS-interface Safety at Work networks as well as their higher level fieldbus, improving overall efficiency and reducing costs accordingly.
