The revolutionary handheld ODT-HH-MAH200 series of barcode readers is now available from LC Automation in cabled, batch or cordless (Bluetooth) versions.
Following on from its acquisition of Omnitron, Pepperl and Fuchs has launched the revolutionary, handheld ODT-HH-MAH200 series of barcode readers, now available from LC Automation in cabled, batch or cordless (Bluetooth) versions.
They have already set an impressive benchmark for sise and weight, yet they can still withstand multiple drops onto a concrete floor from up to 3m.
Developed to be a true universal reader, no other single device performs as many functions as the ODT-HH-MAH200, and its cost is also far less than comparable systems.
With its unique dual path optical system, a 1.3Mpixel CMOS sensor, and a 400MHz processor the ODT-HH-MAH200 can support high density matrix codes as well as the larger low density linear codes.
It also boasts a superior working range, high-speed omnidirectional decoding, flexible configuration settings and a choice of three cordless or cable interface versions.
It is the only product available in handheld, gun handle, and presentation-stand form factors with cabled, batch and cordless versions.
The cordless version uses the latest Bluetooth class 1 interface with a 90m operating range, and will operate for a complete shift at the highest use rate.
In fact the ODT-HH-MAH200 will perform more than 4000 reads and transmits from a single battery charge.
The rugged and versatile ODT-HH-MAH200 is ideal for even the most demanding warehouse and production applications, yet it's still rapid and economical for point-of- sale use.
It is even small and light enough to be used in parcel tracking with a 1300mAh lithium-ion battery and 8Mbyte of nonvolatile memory outperforming all other store and forward devices.
ODT-HH-MAH200 automatically distinguishes between all major 2D matrix and linear barcode symbologies and features a time stamp feature for logging data.
Whether the need is for a small, palm-held device or a traditional gun, the ODT-HH-MAH200 is specifically developed to enable users to easily choose the device that best meets their needs.
The ODT-HH-MAH200 is available in three basic configurations: the ODT-HH-MAH200 cabled version is available with USB (standard) or RS232 interfaces.
All cables use rugged, automatic locking adapters that allow users to change cables, but prevent inadvertent disconnections.
The ODT-HH-MAH200 Batch version features a 1300mAh lithium-ion battery with a 6200-scan lifespan plus 8h standby time.
The unit features 8Mbyte of nonvolatile memory and automatically recharges when connected via the USB interface.
The ODT-HH-MAH200 cordless version features a class 1 Bluetooth interface with a 90m operating range and communicates seamlessly with desktop or laptop PCs, PDAs, printers, cellphones, point of sale devices, LAN and WLAN routers.
It also boasts a battery life of 4000 reads and transmits or over 8h standby time.
