The Mitsubishi FR-F700 range continues to stand out from the crowd with a number of innovative, and very useful features.
With so many different low voltage inverters available, trying to differentiate between competing products can be difficult.
However, the Mitsubishi FR-F700 range continues to stand out from the crowd with a number of innovative, and very useful features.
One feature of the F700 series that can prove useful, but is often overlooked is called commercial power switchover.
As the name suggests, if the inverter experiences a fault or some other alarm that could cause it to fail, the unit can automatically switch from inverter to mains power.
It can also be used as part of a routine maintenance schedule, without shutting down the machine.
LC Automation Sales Manager Peter Stott explains why this feature is so important; "Reducing downtime to a minimum is important, especially in large manufacturing businesses where downtime can often cost thousands of pounds an hour".
