Compact scanner reads all popular
barcodes

Barcode scanner offers full size performance and a 70-degree all-seeing aperture, making it the ideal solution for ambitious applications where space is especially tight.

Where equipment has been designed for applications where space is limited, it's often the case that the features and performance are also limited - but not with the new Sick CLV 405 It may only be about the size of a matchbox (just 44.5 x 44.5 x 21.6mm), but this barcode scanner offers full size performance and a 70-degree all-seeing aperture, making it the ideal solution for ambitious applications where space is especially tight

The CLV 405 can read all popular types of barcodes, even long codes, at very short reading distances.

The CLV 405 has a scanning frequency of up to 1000Hz and can easily keep up with high-speed applications.

And its impressive credentials don't stop there.

It also has an excellent first read rate with an IP54 rated housing and includes an RS232 data interface as standard.

Available as a line or raster scanner, the Sick CLV 405 comes in either standard or high-resolution versions and a lateral scan line exit is also available for especially tight situations.

Using the setup button, which is integrated in the housing, different procedures like auto-setup, percentage evaluation of reading quality, matchcode teach-in or permanent saving of reading parameters can be started.

This makes onsite installation, commissioning and setup incredibly simple, even without PC support.

The CLV 405 is ideal for many different market segments such as packaging machinery, robotic handling, clinical analysers or document processing in an intelligent manner. Request a free brochure from LC Automation ...
